Rodrigo Bulamah
Rodrigo C. Bulamah (PhD Unicamp/EHESS 2018) is an anthropologist and currently a São Paulo Foundation (FAPESP) post-doctoral fellow at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). His main ethnographic field is the Caribbean and he works with both ethnographic methods and historical sources focusing on themes such as kinship, mobility, historicity, and ecology. As a researcher associate to the Colour of Labour project, he is interested in the history of ethnic Arabs in the Caribbean, particularly in Haiti, and their ambiguous presence in the national space as well as their conceptions of race, gender, community, and diaspora.
