Kishor Subba Limbu

I am a PhD candidate at the ICS-ULisboa (2020/24) and a cultural anthropologist with interest in Folklore, Oral Histories, Myths, Indigenous Knowledge/Culture. I have done my MA in Anthropology at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and carried out more than ten social science-researches with development agencies and academic institutions in Nepal and Portugal. My PhD project is “Card Ko Lãgi”: a collective moral of Migrant Nepali Agriculture workers in Portugal”, while “Sisekpa Tangnam: Diasporic dimension of belongingness (2019-2020) (self-funded) is my ongoing research in an indigenous community of migrant Nepalese in Portugal.

Besides that, I write for Nepalese national newspapers (Print/Online) and for my own blog (on the Himalayan folklore) and I have a Youtube channel
